About gastritis

Gastritis is a form of inflammation of the stomach lining.
Gastritis can be caused by irregular diet, excessive alcohol consumption, chronic vomiting, long term stress, medications, h. pylori, bacteria, infections and bile reflux. Gastritis can lead to a internal bleeding and may further develop into cancer. Some common symptoms for gastritis include nausea, vomiting, bloating, abdominal pain, burning in stomach, hiccups, low appetite, vomiting blood, and black stools.
In Chinese Medicine, we uses herbs and acupuncture to regulate the stomach acid, calm down the reflux, treat the inflammation and rebuild the stomach lining. This may be a long process, because stomach is a very delicate organ to work with and stomach is constantly working without no rest.
